Job description
To
provide Blasting
and Coating (including insulation) supervision expertise during the fabrication, construction,
testing and installation work scope of the Topsides and associated pipelines and
pig traps.
Overall monitoring and
supervision of the blasting, coating of fabrication and construction activities
at the Fabrication Yards.
Ensuring the quality and
progress of the work and the strict adherence to company and contractor
procedures and specifications.
Ensuring that the work scopes
are carried out to the highest HSE Standards.
Ensuring that daily testing of
the blasting and coatings activities are carried out and reviewing the reports.
Providing
technical support to the project on blasting and coating activities.
Reviewing
Project Documents for blasting, coating and insulation.
Reviewing contractual documents issued by Contractors and Suppliers
relating to your discipline.
Contributing to EP Offshore improvement process
and close-out report.
Requirements
Minimum
HNC (equivalent experience will be considered).
10 years relevant
experience in a senior position in an offshore oil and gas
project environment.
5 years experience as a supervisor on Offshore Topsides,
Pipe lines an advantage.
Industry recognised valid coating qualification, CSWIP, B. Gas, ERS or
similar. NACE an advantage.
Experience
in managing Main contractors.
