Job description
To ensure the
implementation of a Maintenance strategy for all onshore assets, facilities,
plant and equipment Oil Gas, Water, Waste Water, Steam, Amines, Caustic
Soda, Methanol, etc..
This position will indirectly deal with Petroleum and/or Petroleum Product,, LP
& HP Steam (Temperature up to 1000 Celsius Degree, Pressure up to 90 bars. ) which optimises OPEX and prolongs operational
life of asset in a safe and efficient manner.
Supporting the development and implementing maintenance strategies in
line with Company’s work plans and budget.
Ensuring that maintenance activities are carried out safely and
efficiently.
Establishing maintenance requirements and inputting these requirements
to the maintenance plans.
Coordinating the execution of the maintenance activities ensuring the best
use of Contractors’ resources and providing support to manage technical and
contractual aspects.
Supporting field operations to determine any technical and/or
operational aspects affecting the full availability of equipment/machinery of
the plant and defining the corrective action to improve lifetime and
reliability.
Supporting the development and setting up of Company’s Maintenance
Management System and ensuring its implementation within Production
Operations.
Supporting the development and setting up of Company’s spare parts
inventory levels philosophy according to the defined maintenance strategies.
Establishing the requirements of specific training programmes for
upgrading the skill levels of national employees.
Supporting the preparation and control of the OPEX budget for
maintenance related activities.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronic.
Minimum 15 years in Oil and Gas Industry, in senior role, to
have included:
experience in all aspects of assets, facilities, plant and
equipment maintenance
experience at senior level in aligning business strategy
with operational objectives
knowledge and experience in dealing with appropriate local
regulations and international standards
experience in dealing with regulatory bodies
experience of managing multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural
teams
management of contractors
Maintenance system and policy knowledge.
