Job description
Onshore & offshore Safety Case development.
Review of Third party Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) &
HSEIA Study.
Hazard consequence modelling & interpretation of gas
release for Oil & Gas fields including Fire, Release, Explosion and
Dispersion calculation using PHAST.
Area Classification as per IP-15 standard, including Hazardous
area classification schedule and layout for Oil & Gas fields.
Conduct Safety Integrity Level (SIL)
assessment study for all Safety critical loop.
Active participation in HAZID, HAZOP study using PHAPro or
PHAWorks.
Engineering of active & passive Fire protection system,
Fire & Gas detection system, Fire protection analysis.
Provide guidance for preparation and evaluation of plot plans,
participation in PDS &
PDMS Model review.
Contract review and preparation of Technical document register
and project management.
Liaison
with Process / Instrument / civil / electric / other disciplines for
systems implementation, Participation in HSE
Reviews, HSE Audits covering
engineering. review specifications, Process Data
Sheets (PDS), Piping Material
Specifications (PMS), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's),
Plot plans, General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
Review of Bid document and preparation Cost Time Resource
estimate for proposal.
Estimation, Engineering, Procurement, Execution and
Commissioning of Active and Passive fire protection system as per NFPA,
SABIC and client standards.
Fire Safety Audit.
Requirements
Experience in Process Safety & Loss Prevention
& Safety System in Oil & Gas Industry. Worked with Major Engineering
companies on many major Oil & Gas Processing, Onshore & Offshore units,
Refinery, Petrochemical and utilities projects for conducting Conceptual, FEED
and Detailed Engineering studies.
Loss prevention – Fire and explosion
study - fire prevention - containment and extinguishment; methods of assessment
of fire risks; hydrocarbon fires and explosions, Fire Protection Philosophy,
Engineering of Fire & Gas detection with Cause & Effects, Passive fire
protection, Active fire protection(fixed water/foam/CO2.
Clean Agent
system), portable & mobile fire equipment, escape routes; legal
requirements.
Process safety & reliability – HAZID, HAZOP, SIL
studies, Hazardous Area Classification, Emergency shutdown system - Liaison
with process / instrument engineers on safeguarding / relief / etc,
Modelling and interpretation of flammable and Toxic release using Shell FRED / PHAST/ BP CIRRUS software. Loss of
containment risk assessment using FTA, FMEA. Integrity management, QRA, Plant
layout and modelling in put to PDS
& PDMS and plant Model review participation.
HSE - Preparation of HSE Plan, Philosophy, Collating HSE registers, actions close-out and Company HSEMS
implementation. Health, Safety & Environment impact Assessment (HSEIA)
review.
Conversant with American and British Codes. Such as
NFPA, API, IP, SOLAS and ADNOC
& Group Companies, Qatar Petroleum, SHELL DEP & EP, British Petroleum
(BP) standards.
