Job description
Business Integrity:
To ensure that ICT activities, such as, Service, Operational or Business activities, incl. external projects, do not impinge or degrade the highest professional levels of services or operations that the business expects from ICT.
ICT Security:
Required to advise and assist in the specification and implementation of Security Governance frameworks, ICT security reviews, undertake ICT Security risk assessements and provide advice on elements of these frameworks acro. Will demonstrate a commitment to Security through leadership of programmes for complinance to ISO17799, Sarbanes Oxley and COBIT, ISO20007.
Key responsibilities will be to lead, help develop, implement and maintain ICT security platforms and related tools which assist in ensuring business data integrity and sound security platforms.
Required to build ICT Security test facilities which provide "proof of concept" and good "Operational" status prior to presentation and introduction into the business environment.
Required also to develop cutting-edge and innovative solutions for the ICT security network. Study the proliferation of viruses, Monitor developments in hacker intrusion methods, Conduct active penetration tests, Discover vulnereabilities in informations systems as required to sustain any internal/exernal Audit procedure.
Requirements
Education to a relevant degree level or equivalent
Formel ICT Security certivication or equivalent
Minimum 10 years experience in IT
At least 5 years experience in the Management of Information Systems and related Security controls in a complex ICT multi-site organisation
Knowledge of and proven work exerpience in managing the Micorosoft Active Directory security, Networking Security incl. Cisco, Application and relational database security incl. proof of successful implementation of Key ICT Security initiatives into business
Fluent English both in spoken and written form
A working knowledge of BS7799 or ISO17799
A relevant security or IT audit qualification such as CISSP, CISM or CISA
Member of internationally recognised Industrial bodies: MBCS, MIET, CEng.
