Job description
Ensure
the highest availability of ICT Networking infrastructure related to SAP
solution. Responsible for the VMWare Virtual
Infrastructure. Provide ICT demand analysis, capacity planning and projects
definition.
Responsible
for managing the networking
infrastructure for the SAP solution.
Advanced
troubleshooting of UNIX related servers and services in High-availability HP
SAN environment.
Troubleshoot SAP/R3
environment at the Operating System Level, implement new services.
Manage the security
for SAP HP-UX infrastructure on a continuous basis.
Be readily
available and able to Create content
management switching and network load-balanced services for critical
applications such as SAP Netweaver Portal when required by the business.
Responsible for
the business critical VMWare Virtual
Server Infrastructure. Ensure that capacity planning takes place to allow
implementation of new services as and when required by the business.
Responsible for the
designing and implementing the Business Continuity Plan infrastructure in a
view of Virtual Servers Infrastructure.
Design and
update the procedures to be followed in
case of Servers Failure, for Data Backup and Restore operations.
Be able and
available to carry out Network configuration (modify IP /VLAN allocation) configuring
DNS/NIS client to suit business needs.
Support Networking
& Infrastructure Coordinator in keeping
up-to-date on Computer Hardware and Software Technologies.
24/7 availability
for emergency procedures as power shutdowns, network outage, hardware failures
and disaster recovery procedures.
Cooperate with all
the ICT Teams in Kazakhstan and the ones in Milan in order to achieve corporate.
Requirements
A recognized University degree
in IT or recognized ICT qualifications.
At least 3 years of Unix Platform and Network management in a large
Company and with many different sites in different Geographic locations.
Excellent working
knowledge of the Unix/Linux operating systems.
Strong skills in
networking technologies, Cisco hardware.
