Job description
To
provide pipeline engineering expertise supporting Kashagan Full Field
Development Early Works (EW) Programme with specific responsibilities for the
pipelines between the Onshore Processing Plant, EP facilities and export route
pipelines (inter-plant and export route connection pipelines).
To
provide significant technical input into KWAC generated deliverables such as
philosophies, reports, drawings specifications, data sheets not only for
pipelines discipline but also other disciplines (e.g. HSE, Control Systems,
Telecomms, Electrical, Mechanical, Piping etc).
To
assist with coordinating the additional interfaces on the project and
attend/chair discipline meetings as required.
To
assist the Senior Onshore Pipelines Engineer leading the technical scopes of
work for the inter-plant and export route connection pipelines for EW.
To
assist the Senior Onshore Pipelines Engineer to define the technical scopes of
work for the Execution Contracts (EPC) award.
To
provide pipeline project engineering expertise to support Kashagan field
development plans, infrastructure and operation support projects as well as any
other activity requiring project pipeline engineering support.
Requirements
An engineering degree in Mechanical, Civil or
other relevant discipline.
A minimum of 10 years experience in onshore
and near shore pipeline design, including installation techniques.
Experience in previous similar company role
(if available), especially in managing and interfacing with major Contractors.
Experience in design of pipeline in arctic
regions and impacted with ice loads would be an advantage.
Experience in Former Soviet Union and/or
Caspian Area would be an advantage.
Detailed knowledge of RoK & ISO code
13623.
Working knowledge of all relevant discipline
codes and standards.
Good understanding of planning and executing
projects in the onshore pipelines business.
Good understanding of HSE importance in
planning and executing projects.
Proactive approach to HSE issues and process
safety/hazard management.
Understanding of structured project
management processes.
Ability to identify, analyse and resolve
complex technical / commercial problems with limited supervision.
