Provide effective production and maintenance engineering support during Phase II Onshore Development Concept Definition and Front End Engineering Design (FEED) to ensure the development of a robust, maintainable design.

• Contribute with a high level of production / maintenance expertise within the engineering team during FEED.

• Seek to influence the design development of surface facilities which result in quality operational environments.

• Contribute to the update of a comprehensive Operating Philosophy for delivery into detailed engineering which fully frames the operating environment.

• Coordinate, with the Engineering unit, suitable and thorough analyses to maximise safety and minimise schedule and production risks.

• Ensure the whole integration of operations and commissioning by developing and maintaining an effective communications network with other functional groups.

• Participate in design, operability, HAZOP and HAZID reviews to ensure effective production operations input.

• Coordinate suitable operability maintainability assessments, both qualitatively and quantitatively, to ensure operational criteria can be developed during FEED. 

• Provide production maintenance input into the development of manpower plans and OPEX estimating models.

• In liaison with process and pipeline engineering groups, ensure flow assurance risks are managed by developing robust, realistic operable and maintainable solutions.

• Ensure proper liaison with Phase II offshore development team to allow an alignment on operation assurance objectives, processes and actions.

• Degree in an engineering discipline with at least 10 years operational experience in a production environment  OR.

• In the absence of a degree, at least 15 years experience in an operational environment including commissioning, start up, operations and troubleshooting, with a minimum of at least 5 years in a supervisory role.

• Sound knowledge/experience of production operations and maintenance including interfacing with drilling, well servicing  and construction groups.

• Experience in feasibility or pre-execution project definition phases.

• Experience in sour gas operations preferable though not essential.
