Job description
Developing, updating
of the HSE-MS as it applies to Production & Maintenance activities. Monitoring/assurance of Line Management awareness
and adherence to Policies, Systems, Procedures and Standards and their
implementation. Continuous development
of a positive HSE Culture. Providing
Safety services as requested and agreed with Line Managers. Leadership and
professional development of Junior staff.
Ensure compliance with RoK Safety Legislation. Support and deputise for
the P&M HSE Manager when required.
Supporting
Line Management in the implementation of HSE processes.
Instructing
the P&M Safety personnel on P&M Directorate priorities and actions.
Ensuring
Line Managers awareness of company policies, systems, procedures and standards
and its correct Implementation.
Ensuring
that the Line owned HSE Audit / Inspection / Tour Program is completed.
Training
and development of the Safety Section staff.
Ensuring
the incident management system and Promasys are effectively maintained and
developed.
Updating
and developing of the P&M HSE-MS documentation to reflect the Corporate
model.
Supporting
Line Management with HSE evaluation of tender documentation and preparation of
pre-tender HSE Plans.
Supporting
Line Management with HAZOPs, HAZIDs, HAZEERs etc..
Mentor and
coach Junior Staff.
Requirements
Minimum of NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in
Health and Safety Management, preferably with an engineering background and
recognised membership of professional bodies.
At least 15 years experience in the oil and
gas industry with considerable EP experience.
5 years in HSE within a supervisory role.
Ability to lead HSE-MS Audits, Incident
Investigations, HAZOP and HAZID studies.
