Job description
To ensure that the marine transportation area is managed effectively in
order to meet the expectation of the EP Project in terms of safety and schedule.
Engaging in the
analysis of Offshore marine transportation advising the best solution in terms of schedule, mode of transport and costs.
Interfacing with
the EW Shipping Coordinator and the Expediting Transportation Coordinator to
identify transportation synergies enabling cost savings maintaining the
compliance with the required delivery
dates.
Managing
interfaces with Logistic and EP IHUC for all matters relevant to marine transportation.
Interfacing with
suppliers and engineering subcontractor ensuring the proposed technical
solution is in compliance with the RoK and international laws, regulations and
industry best practice.
Supervising the
performance and activities of the Shipping and Freight forwarding Contractor
for the Marine transportation activities.
Supporting the
Contract Administrators to ensure compliance of contractual requirement by
Execution Contractors.
Requirements
Naval Architecture Degree or at least 10
years experience of marine transportation.
Experience with Projects executed in the Caspian Region, and
specifically Kazakhstan, would be beneficial.
