Job description
To implement and develop the ER arrangements for
Full Field Development Onshore Processing Facility (FFD OPF). This will require delivery of selected
research, studies and internal procedures for Emergency Response/ Escape,
Evacuation and Rescue systems. Additionally to liaise with regulatory authorities, other project areas,
and operating and management agent companies for the onshore developments in Kazakhstan.
To provide any/ all support as may be
required to Head of Health Safety Engineering in the preparation of new
documents, revisions and maintenance of applicable Company ER/EER strategies,
procedures, plans and performance standards and to provide EER support to
operational centres.
To provide historical and current scientific
support to Escape, Evacuation & Rescue (EER) research and development activities.
To be involved in a number of contracts where
analytical and scientific approaches are fundamental to ranking EER performance
options that provide integrity assurance for the onshore facilities in Kazakhstan.
Implementation of the field Emergency
Response arrangements. This may include
liaising with partners, contractors, local authorities, regulatory bodies and
government ministries.
Co-ordinate with other project disciplines,
contractors and external bodies to ensure the successful implementation of the
EER strategies.
Directly involved in a number of EER R&D
projects, including evacuation training and competency assurance.
Create an auditable historical and future
plan EER system decision trail in support of reducing EER risks to ALARP and in
support of project HSE Cases.
Monitor changing hazard analyses of
developing operations, construction, HU&C and SIMOPS phases to ensure
awareness and appreciation of influences on design and operations; and
Participate in HAZEERs/ Design Reviews;
Participate in audits, contactor reviews and
accident and incident investigations as required.
Requirements
Preferably post graduate qualified or degree/equivalent
qualification relevant to a research position (Science/ Engineering).
Appropriate Corporate Membership.
Project management experience with the development and
implementation of safety systems and plans.
Experience of liaising with local authorities and regulatory
bodies.
Extensive technical knowledge of EER systems.
Minimum of 10 years research/ scientific/ engineering
experience.
Proven background in a similar role.
